Is Ledger Map self-serve today?
Not yet. The founding cohort uses assisted onboarding because Zanda API access is still a beta workflow. We connect the practice, dry-run its real history and review the map before anything can post.
Do I need my bookkeeper to set this up?
Not necessarily, but the person responsible for the chart of accounts should approve the map. That may be the practice manager, owner, internal finance lead or an external bookkeeper.
Does Ledger Map decide how my income should be coded?
No. It starts from a visible template and executes the configuration your practice approves. Accounts, tax treatment and tracking stay editable, previewable and tied to the person who approved them.
How do I know the deposit actually balances?
Every payment or remittance component is checked against the bank amount before the matching Xero record is proposed. Anything that does not conserve is held for review rather than guessed.
What happens to deposits I have already reconciled?
Nothing. Historical data is used for the dry run, but Ledger Map leaves completed Xero work alone and starts from the go-live date your practice approves.
Does Cliniko work today?
Not yet. The founding cohort is focused on assisted Zanda and Xero onboarding. Cliniko is planned after that workflow has been proven end to end.
Where does Ledger Map keep our data?
Practice and financial records are stored in Supabase's Sydney region. Sign-in identity and sessions are handled by Clerk in the United States. The data-location page names every service behind Ledger Map and what it sees.
